Gazprom: FEED works on pipeline to China via Mongolia near end

MOSCOW, May 12 (PRIME) -- The Front End Engineering Design works on the Soyuz Vostok gas pipeline to run to China through Mongolia are at the finishing stage, gas giant Gazprom said in a statement on its Telegram channel on Friday.

"The survey and design works on the project of construction of the Soyuz Vostok gas pipeline are fulfilled in strict accordance with the approved plans and are at the finishing stage," Gazprom said.

According to an earlier statement, completion of engineering on the project is expected in 2023.
